Sweet and sour chicken with pineapple

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 chicken cutlets
  • 1 pineapple
  • 1 onion
  • 50 g wheat flour
  • 15 g apple starch
  • 10 cl water
  • 6 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 4 tbsp. soy sauce

 

PREPARATION

  1. Dice the chicken and pineapple. Chop onion.
  2. Mix the flour and cornstarch in a bowl, then add the 10cl water. Add the chicken and pineapple pieces and coat thoroughly.
  3. Preheat the griddle. In a saucepan placed on the plancha, cook the ketchup with the sugar, white vinegar, soy sauce and 10 cl water over low heat. Set aside.
  4. On the oiled plancha, sauté the onion over high heat, then add the chicken. When the chicken is golden brown, add the ketchup sauce and stir.
    Cook for a few more minutes.
